For lovers of Harry Potter and Narnia this is a must – guaranteed to provide a memorable start to the Christmas holidays, with two lovely, family-friendly children’s stories. Each piece is told through songs, narration and projections promising an unforgettable musical event for all the family, with narration by BAFTA award-winner Olivia Colman (Twenty Twelve, Broadchurch, Peep Show), plus the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the prize-winning Burntwood School Girls’ Choir and male voice choir, RSVP Voices. The story of The Snow Queen follows Gerda on her exciting journey to rescue best friend Kay from the clutches of The Snow Queen. A semi-staged version of the Hans Christian Andersen classic, this version of the story by Paul K Joyce  has already delighted audiences around the world, and this event marks a very special 10th Anniversary performance. The second half of the concert premières The Griffin and The Grail, a spell-binding new work by Adrian Sutton of ‘War Horse’ fame – , with libretto by Jon James, which tells the story of two youngsters who travel through time to the realm of King Arthur.
